We opened in 1997 with a brewery and bakery in our basement and a simple pub-style menu. We now have a 15-barrel brewery on nearby Hope Street, our beers are available throughout the Pioneer Valley, our baker has her own shop Ambrosia Bakery) here in Greenfield, and our menu ha appetizers and meals that we hope will continue to satisfy you. Whenever possible, we serve food grown or produced locally and raised organically. For example, our vegby Lightlife Foods in Turners Falls, we use Bart's premium ice cream (made just up the street), our bread is baked at Green Fields Market, the honey in our homemade ginger ale is supplied by Tim Smith in Shelburne Falls, and we buy fresh salad greens from Seeds of Solidarity in Orange. Many of our dishes are oriented around seasonal vegetables and fruits supplied by over 25 area farmers. Diemand Farm in Wendell raises our eggs, our organic Yukon Gold potatoes are grown by Paul Maiewski in Whately, the sprouts come from The Gill Greenery, and we often serve Chase Hill Organic Farmstead cheese from Warwick on our special ploughman board. Whenever possible, we serve food grown or produced locally and raised organically. For example, our vegby Lightlife Foods in Turners Falls, we use Bart's premium ice cream (made just up the street) This is just dummy copy and is not meant for publication, silly.
